Nubia Flip 2 emerges in listing
ZTE unveiled its first flip-foldable back in February. This is the ZTE Libero Flip. The device has since been released as the nubia Flip in the global market. Now, we get our first glimpse of its sequel-the nubia Flip 2 (NX732J)-which recently surfaced in a certification listing under China’s TENAA agency.
Flip 2 will have a revamped appearance as it now has a much bigger 3-inch AMOLED cover display boasting 422×682px resolution. The outside display adopts an elongated rectangular form that has replaced the previous round shape. Two cameras flank it-a 50MP main camera and a 2MP auxiliary module. Below these two cameras, there is also a round LED flash.
Flip 2 will sport a newly configured appearance with an AMOLED cover screen that now measures 3 inches and has a resolution of 422×682px. Replacing what once was the round exterior screen of its predecessor is a rectangular form on the outside of the phone. Two cameras lie on either side of the product, with a 50MP primary shooter and a 2MP subsidiary one. Below the two cameras is a round LED flash.
The main display measures 6.85 inches, and it continues to be of the AMOLED variety, maintaining the same resolution of 1,188 by 2,970 pixels. Flip 2 comes with a wide-angle selfie camera, which is integrated into a punch-hole cutout, 32 megapixels in size.
In terms of dimensions, Flip 2 is said to measure 169.4×76×7.2(mm) when unfolded, which conforms to that of first-gen nubia Flip. Furthermore, this new model weighs just 193 grams against the 214 grams of the current one.
The listing makes no mention of the chipset; however, it does reveal that the Flip 2 will be coming with RAM options of 6/8/12GB and a 4,225mAh battery packed inside.
