The iPhone 16 family’s actual battery capacities have finally been released.

Since Apple prefers not to disclose the precise battery capacities of its iPhones, we are always forced to rely on other sources for information such as regulatory agency certifications and teardowns. The same is true for the recently unveiled iPhone 16 family, but thanks to Brazilian regulator Anatel, we now have the precise figures at last.

With a 3,561 mAh battery, the iPhone 16 has a 6.3% larger capacity than its predecessor. The iPhone 16 Plus boasts a 6.6% larger 4,674 mAh battery. With a 3,582 mAh battery, the iPhone 16 Pro is 9.4% more powerful than the iPhone 15 Pro, while the iPhone 16 Pro Max has a 4,685 mAh cell, which is 5.5% more powerful than the iPhone 15 Pro Max.

As a result, the iPhone 16 Pro stands out as the model with the most increase over the devices from the previous year. However, this does not imply that the other devices have poor battery life; in fact, the iPhone 16 Pro and the Pro Max have much longer battery lives than their predecessors, even though they have slightly (and differently) increased their total battery capacity. This is because the A18 and A18 Pro chips were used, as well as thermal improvements in the internal design.

Furthermore, if you purchase one of Apple’s new MagSafe chargers, all iPhone 16 models support the quicker 25W MagSafe charging. Additionally, you must attach that to a 30W power adaptor. Additionally, the new gadgets support USB-C charging at up to 45W.

Worldwide availability of the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max will start today.
